The Program

Ghost Sled — Autonomous Tracked Ground Recovery System

Ghost Sled recovers disabled U.S. Army and NATO wheeled and light tracked vehicles in GPS-denied and communications-denied environments, and extracts crew at the same time — so no soldier ever has to walk into a contested recovery site.

Scout

An autonomous drone launches ahead of Ghost Sled, builds a 3D picture of the disabled vehicle and terrain, and relays a recovery plan before Ghost Sled ever arrives.

Approach

Ghost Sled navigates autonomously to the site — on road or fully denied of GPS and communications — and positions itself against the vehicle.

Recover

A hydraulic attachment engages the vehicle's structure directly — not a fixed tow point — so recovery works even on combat-damaged vehicles.

Extract

A companion unmanned ground vehicle recovers the crew while Ghost Sled recovers the vehicle. Both return autonomously — mission complete.

ReefLiger's job is the architecture that makes these systems work together as one recovery platform — not reinventing any of them.

IP

ReefLiger has filed a provisional patent covering the core Ghost Sled recovery architecture, including a structural-engagement recovery method that works regardless of a vehicle's tow point condition, and an autonomous ground-anchor system that removes the last manual step from vehicle recovery.

ReefLiger LLC is a defense systems integrator founded in 2026 and based in Casper, Wyoming. We're a small, senior team that designs recovery and support systems by combining best-in-class, already-fielded American technology — rather than building new hardware from a blank sheet.

Ghost Sled, our first program, was submitted to the U.S. Army's xTech Kinetic Reach competition under Topic T5 — Uncrewed Automated Ground Recovery System. We work alongside TeraSteed LLC, an affiliated IP holder contributing thermal-signature-reduction technology to the Ghost Sled platform.
